How is DMTI different from traditional PD or curriculum providers?
Most providers drop off a textbook or run a one-day training. We embed directly into your
classrooms, co-teach with your educators, and support your team all year long. No replacements —
just better teaching.
Do we have to replace our existing curriculum?
We work with all curriculum, and also provide complete access to our resources which can work as
supplemental. The curriculum used is far less important than the focus on kids visualizing,
communicating, and connecting math to the real life they understand.
What kind of results can we expect — and how soon?
You'll see significant results in the very first year as students go through your curriculum and
focus on modeling, language, and varied practice. Every classroom is different and teachers gain
more comfort and confidence with each lesson.
How much time do teachers need to commit?
We typically start with a 2 or 3 day workshop in the summer, then schedule co-teaching in your
classrooms for one or more days.
How do we know this will work for our district?
We're in classrooms daily and closely support teachers throughout the year. In addition, we
guarantee achievement gains or will work with your teachers until there are gains!
